Partners Group's investment strategy office, led by chief investment strategist Anastasia Amoroso, publishes a Private Markets Chartbook each quarter along with annual and mid-year outlooks. The 2026 mid-year outlook, The Transformation Era Takes Hold, raised the firm's probability for a productivity boom scenario from 15 to 20 percent, and argued that private market activity would broaden in the second half and that private valuations still look better than public ones.
The Macro Insights pieces are the most useful for credit readers. The Golden Age of Private Credit Selection, written with head of private credit Andrew Bellis, argues that private credit is entering a period of wider return dispersion. It finds software exposure to AI disruption real but overstated, and concludes that a leveraged beta approach will struggle as losses rise, so underwriting and manager selection will matter more.
Use the chartbook for a quarterly refresh on valuations, fundraising and macro inputs, and read the outlooks for the scenario framework. Partners Group writes from Switzerland with a global book, so it often weights Europe and Asia more than US managers do.
