Damodaran repackaged his semester-long Stern classes into short webcasts of roughly 12 to 20 minutes each. Valuation Online runs 25 sessions and Corporate Finance Online runs 36, and each session comes with downloadable slides and a post-class test with solutions. A shorter Foundations of Finance class covers time value, cash flows, risk and the basics of valuing stocks, bonds and options for people with no finance background, and he has added classes on accounting, statistics and investment philosophies.
The value is the method. He walks through estimating cash flows, growth and discount rates, tests terminal values, and treats narrative and numbers as two halves of the same valuation. The spreadsheets he uses in class sit on the same site, so you can rebuild every example.
A junior analyst can work through the valuation class in a few weeks of evenings. Watch on his site or on YouTube, do the post-class tests, then try his DCF templates on a company you cover.
